Pageant fundraiser to be organised by our Member Cara - Read her MS Story

Ny name is Cara and I have been diagnosed with relapse remitting MS for 10 years. I grew up with my mother who also has an MS diagnosis. I have been a member of the Bedford MS Therapy Centre for 5+ years now, which has been a huge positive impact on my life.

I’m holding the charity pageant fundraiser on Saturday 24th August, to help raise awareness and funding for the Bedford MS Therapy Centre not just for myself but for everyone who is pushing through with the strength they build up with the support provided.

The MS Therapy Centre is always there for me on different days -when I need to relax, to days where I need to get support with walking confidently again. The support from staff and volunteers are the glue that keeps the Therapy Centre running.

It has a large number of different therapies including physical and emotional support. I feel that I am in a safe place when I’m there because everybody understands exactly what each other is, or could be, struggling with. Without the support and fundraising from the fantastic public we couldn’t keep the Centre running. It would be amazing to see lots of you at this event I am organising, thank you.

If you would like to attend, tickets can be purchased via Ticket Tailor here or in advance from reception at the Bedford MS Therapy centre. For more information on the Pageant check the events page here
