MS Health and Wellbeing coach
Emma has a wealth of knowledge of MS. She can help from understanding the initial diagnosis, suggesting the therapies that may be useful to you, and supporting you in liaising with your GP and neurology team. Making the most of your appointments with your neurology team can make a real difference. Emma is able to talk to you about your condition, your treatments, and help you prepare questions for these important appointments.
Emma now works at the Centre on Wednesdays
She can answer all of your MS-related questions in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. You can make an appointment at any time by phoning our reception desk. You do not need a referral. Appointments are available face to face at the Centre, by phone or via zoom. So even if you can’t get to the Centre on Wednesdays you can still access support from Emma.
Please note that Emma is not working as an MS specialist nurse and that for any hospitalisations, prescriptions etc you should approach your MS nurse or neurologist. You should also always go to your appointment with your neurologist so that you can maintain your position within the NHS patient list.
