GoodOaks Homecare - Bedford launches new campaign to support unpaid carers

The local visiting and live-in homecare provider have announced they are now offering free information sessions for family carers. They have also interviewed sector experts and created in-depth care guides on topics such as nutrition and hydration, balance and fall prevention, dementia care and more. GoodOaks have implemented a helpline at their office

in Wootton, for anyone who needs extra support or has any questions about care.  As well as the campaign, GoodOaks have developed a FREE online learning platform, The GoodOaks Academy. The offering contains bite size courses on a number of care topics, for anyone who is looking after someone at home.

GoodOaks Homecare - Bedford pledge to support local MS therapy centre

Local homecare provider GoodOaks, have announced their partnership with Bedford MS Therapy Centre. The centre was set up in 1983 and provides therapies, services and support for people with multiple sclerosis, to manage their condition.

Currently, the Centre receives no government or other state funding, relying solely on donations. Currently £1300+ is required per DAY to operate the centre. This is where GoodOaks - Bedford is taking action. They have committed to a donation of £50 per new client from June - September as their way of giving back to a local charity which directly and positively impacts the lives of their local clients.
